My client a growing logistics business is seeking a Finance Assistant to undertake financial administration activities including journal creation and entry.
My client is a growing logistics company based in Solihull, part of larger group business
As Finance Assistant based in Solihull, reporting to the Finance Director your duties will include:
* Processing invoices within agreed timescales across multiple currencies and VAT settings
* Resolving any invoicing issues
* Validating and processing supplier invoices
* Coordinating and maintaining any supplier payments or refunds
* Owning and undertaking bank account reconciliations and supplier statement reconciliations
The most desirable applicant for Finance Assistant will have:
* Sound knowledge of the monthly accounting and reporting process, understanding the balance sheet and nominal accounting structure
* Along with demonstrable experience of undertaking purchase ledger administration, supplier payment and financial administration
Up to £29,000 per annum plus benefits and hybrid working (2 days in the Solihull office)
