Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)
We're looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across a range of high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between home working and onsite presence—ideal for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

What you’ll do: Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer:
* Undertake on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
* Prepare technical designs of complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings in line with approved procedures, including technical specifications
* Provide technical oversight on new product or service ideas and plan development
* Prepare complex MOVA Designs and MOVA Datasets
* Maintain good knowledge of standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and Traffic Signs Manual
* Undertake MOVA Validations of complex junctions and roundabouts
Who you are:
The ideal candidate will have experience designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings and is looking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role, bringing a new perspective to Traffic Signal Design solutions.
Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer Key Requirements:
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN software
* Microsoft Office skills
* Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
* Understanding of MOVA Tools, Datasets, and Linking
* Knowledge of LinSig 3
* Full UK Driving Licence
