An exciting opportunity for a PA to join an expanding Lawfirm in Southampton. To communicate professionally and effectively with clients, Court, Barristers, agents & third parties, and other staff particularly on the telephone.
Roles and Responsibilities
To include:
* Dealing with confidential and sensitive information with the utmost respect and integrity as well as ensuring security
* Must have experience with Audio typing
* Making up files and drafting client care letters and terms of business, ensuring compliance with SRA codes as well as CQS,
* Completing legal administrative tasks with minimal supervision
* Familiarity with conveyancing terminology, Land Registry Portal, SDLT online, search providers and mapping, indemnity insurance providers, etc
* Familiarity with Litigation would be preferred
* Closing and archiving files.
* Assisting with photocopying, filing, shredding, archiving and other administrative tasks requested
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate:
* Experienced with Audio typing.
* Some experience working in a law firm or a legal background is preferred.
* Someone who is willing to learn on the job and advance their skill set.
* Good computer skills and excellent attention to detail are required.
* Good manner with clients, particularly on the telephone.
* Presents themselves in a professional manner and looks appropriately attired at all times
