FLT Counterbalance Driver Location : Wn8 Shift : 8am-4pm Days : Monday-Friday Pay : £13.78 FLT Counterbalance driver with experience of basic administration duties Overview We are seeking a reliable and FLT Counter balance driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a basic understand of Administration duties, be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, materials handling, and basic mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment repair when necessary. Duties Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and shipments using a Warehouse Management System. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Assist in warehouse operations, including organising inventory and managing stock levels. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely deliveries. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and in the warehouse environment. Qualifications Proven experience in a driving role, preferably within a warehouse or logistics setting. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and admin duties is advantageous. Basic maths skills for inventory management and record keeping. Experience operating forklifts is preferred but not essential; training may be provided. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type used in the role is essential.
