Full‑time, 37.5 hours/week, £40,000 - £55,000 GBP (or €40,000 - €55,000 EUR) + performance bonus scheme.

Education & Experience
* At least 10 years’ professional experience researching, curating, designing, and managing FF&E and Art for international commercial, hospitality, and private projects – not galleries and museums or similar.
* Minimum university degree level in project management and/or architecture, interiors/design, or an art‑related subject.
Highly Desirable Criteria
* Track record of delivering large‑scale and complex international design projects and programmes.
* Experience and evidence of successfully managing budgets over £1m.
* Knowledge of international shipping, imports/exports, and overseas logistics solutions.
* Team leadership and ability to inspire and manage a team of 5 or more.
* Experience of working closely with client team and managing project relations.
* Experience of managing suppliers – preferably with artists and galleries.
* Proven technical skills and proficiency with project management software, Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and AutoCAD.
* Preferably portfolio of design work and curation for projects – concept presentations through to detailed design, specification and documentation – with art elements.
* Passion for modern and contemporary art, with a genuine desire to expand knowledge in this field.
Key Responsibilities
Art Research & Curation
* Research artists and maintain extensive knowledge of contemporary art, craft, and design.
* Lead cutting‑edge approach to art curation, staying ahead of latest art world and design developments.
* Develop sophisticated, well‑researched, and contextually relevant art concept presentations.
* Refine and evolve concept presentations through schematic design mark‑ups on floor plans, elevations, and renders.
* Prepare detailed design documents and schedules with item specifications, procurement details, and supplier information.
* Coordinate with suppliers to establish stock levels, commissioning details, and arrange sampling.
* Attend project sites to curate pieces and sign off final presentation.
* Maintain understanding of artistic processes, materials, and production methods for decision making and quality control.
* Research materials and techniques to source suitable suppliers for artwork production, framing, and installation.
* Review DD documents and verify artwork specifications prior to supply.
* Manage orders and contracts with artists and oversee commissioning process, proactively identifying and addressing challenges.
* Troubleshoot and collaborate with artists to resolve technical or aesthetic issues.
* Oversee artwork inspections at studio and storage facility, ensuring quality standards are met, escalating issues to the Director when necessary.
Project Management & Delivery
* Manage project timelines, track progress of artwork orders, and report regularly to the Director.
* Communicate with clients to provide updates, including schedules, sampling, artwork progress, and completion.
* Supervise and support project assistants and art technicians to ensure project goals are achieved.
* Prepare and manage project budgets, obtaining quotes, placing orders, tracking payments, and presenting financial summary to Director upon completion.
* Track client payments and liaise with Director to ensure cash flow.
* Coordinate with shipping partners to arrange large complex international shipments, obtaining quotes, collating invoices, and preparing export documentation.
* Assist clients at delivery stage to ensure smooth logistics.
* Develop and maintain relationships with trusted logistics and shipping partners.
* Oversee installation of international projects on‑site and coordinate installation teams for smooth delivery.
General
In a small company, you will also handle other day‑to‑day and administrative tasks. You should be conscientious, highly professional, client‑facing, and personable, working well within a team. The role may involve travel to key suppliers, clients, and project locations.
