We have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent, part time, Reablement Assistant to join Southampton City Council (SCC) in the Adult Social Care Service.

We support individuals during key transitions such as hospital discharge, crisis situations, or carer breakdown, helping them regain confidence and resilience in daily living. As a Reablement Assistant, you’ll deliver short-term reablement using a strengths-based approach to promote independence, wellbeing, choice, and dignity. You’ll work closely with individuals and their carers to support hospital discharge, prevent admissions, and help people regain confidence in daily living.
You will work on a two-week rota pattern to cover the needs of the service which includes weekends, bank holidays and unsocial hours. Part time hours considered.

Salary: The salary band for this role is £28,792 - £31,022 pro rata, per annum. The starting salary is £28,792 with annual progression through the salary bands.
