We are seeking an experienced and proactive Private Client Legal Secretary to join our well-established and friendly firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to support a busy Private Client team.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to fee earners
* Audio and copy typing of legal documents, correspondence, and reports
* Preparing and formatting Wills, Probate and Trust documentation
* Managing diaries, appointments, and client meetings
* Handling client enquiries professionally, both in person and by telephone
* Opening and closing files, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance
* Assisting with billing, time recording, and general office administration
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Private Client
* Excellent typing and IT skills (including Microsoft Office)
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities
* A professional, approachable manner with clients
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
