About the Role We are seeking a teacher who thrives in a practical, hands-on, and sensory-based learning environment. You will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of needs, helping them develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. What You’ll Be Doing: Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to each child’s needs Using practical, sensory and multi-sensory approaches to support communication, emotional regulation, and learning Creating a safe, nurturing and structured classroom environment Working closely with support staff, therapists, and leadership to meet EHCP targets Building positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues Assessing progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly Supporting pupils with personal care or physical needs where required Promoting inclusion, independence and well-being What We’re Looking For: A qualified teacher (QTLS/QTS) or an experienced SEN practitioner Experience working in an SEN setting (preferred) Someone patient, resilient, enthusiastic and child-centred Strong understanding of autism, complex needs, sensory processing differences, or communication needs A creative mindset with a willingness to try new approaches If you’re ready to inspire, support, and empower incredible young learners, we’d love to hear from you.
