GSL Education are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school in Alford. You will work with experienced teachers and help children learn, grow, and do their best every day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Help students in and out of the classroom so they can learn and reach their goals.
* Work with the class teacher to get lessons ready and support children in small groups or one-to-one.
* Encourage good behaviour and positive friendships in the classroom.
* Keep an eye on how students are doing and share feedback with the teacher.
* Make sure the classroom is a safe, welcoming, and supportive place for everyone.
Requirements:
* Some experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar setting.
* A patient, caring, and flexible attitude when helping young learners.
* Good communication skills and happy to work as part of a team.
* A real interest in helping children learn and grow.
* Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps).
