Technical Lead - Insurance PAS Systems
Our client, within the Insurance sector, are recruiting for a Technical Lead - Insurance PAS Systems to join the team on a contract basis
JANUARY START
Role:
1. Own migration and integration workstream, delivering on time, within scope, and budget.
2. Develop and maintain test strategy, plans, and scenarios for PAS replacement and integrated services.
3. Manage migration of integrated services and APIs; oversee redesign of data flows.
4. Lead customer data migration strategy, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and rating data validation.
5. Execute system, integration, and migration/data tests; validate supplier deliverables.
6. Design and execute integration tests for APIs and connected services.
7. Coordinate UAT execution, track defects, and manage resolution.
8. Maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, and cutover strategies; lead dress rehearsals for go-live.
9. Validate readiness for go-live and manage hypercare support post-implementation.
10. Act as primary liaison between business teams, vendors, and technical teams; communicate risks and progress effectively.
11. Support organisational change, training plans, and external messaging related to migrations and integrations
Experience
12. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
13. Hands-on testing expertise across system, integration, migration, and reporting domains.
14. Deep understanding of PAS platforms and insurance operations.
15. Technical knowledge of integrations, APIs, and data migration.
16. Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall, PRINCE2).
17. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
18. Experience with test management tools and defect tracking.
