Deputy Care Manager, Ely - Vacancy reference: PK62872 On behalf of a friendly and comfortable Residential Care Home in Ely we are actively seeking a dedicated individual to act as their new Care and Compliance Manager / Deputy Care Manager. The home is a modern, purpose-built service which caters for 60 elderly clients and they are a part of an established charity with homes across the UK. This is a full-time, permanent position paying a starting salary of £45,551 per annum and working 40 hours/week over 5 days. Core hours will be approximately 8am-4pm.9am-5pm, although the successful Deputy Care Manager would need to have a degree of flexibility. You will work in support of the Registered Manager to ensure that the care provided is to the highest possible standards and that all duties are being reliably carried out. Previous Care and Compliance Manager, Deputy or Care Manager experience is preferred however this could be the ideal role for an experienced Head of Care looking to take a step up into a more managerial role. The successful candidate will have previous Team Leading experience in an elderly care home environment with good leadership skills and a strong personality. As Deputy Care Manager you will work as the link between the care team and Home Manager, ensuring that the care home’s high standards are maintained.
