LCV/Van Technician Required in Wednesbury
1. Basic Salary: £37,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience)
2. OTE: Competitive earning potential available
3. Hours: Full-time (Flexible working hours)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Van Technician (LCV) to join a busy and growing Fleet department at a brand-new Vehicle Maintenance Unit (VMU) facility.
This role is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality maintenance across a varied fleet.

Key Responsibilities as a LCV/Van Technician:
4. Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on LCV vehicles
5. Perform minor and major mechanical repairs
6. Complete vehicle health checks and road tests
7. Conduct mechanical, electrical and engine repair work as required
8. Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify faults
9. Carry out thorough vehicle inspections and recommend appropriate solutions
10. Assist with wiring and maintenance
11. Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
12. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient turnaround of vehicles
13. Communicate repair findings clearly with relevant teams
About the LCV/Van Technician:
14. Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (minimum)
15. Strong car service and repair background
16. Experience with wiring and camera systems
17. Full UK driving licence
18. Excellent technical knowledge across vehicle systems
19. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
20. A proactive, team-focused approach
