Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of sales processes, and the ability to analyse market trends to identify opportunities for expansion. The Sales Account Manager will play a crucial role in achieving our business objectives and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Utilise Salesforce to track sales activities, manage client interactions, and report on account performance.
Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Prepare regular reports on account status, sales forecasts, and performance metrics for management review.
Follow up on any sales quotations made for clients, negotiating terms with the client.
Efficiently respond to any online or telephone queries in a calm and friendly manner.

Role Requirements
Essential:
Intermediate knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft office.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
To be able to work effectively within in a team.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
English/Maths GCSE grade C or above.
Good Negotiation and motivational skills.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to deal with different clients and departments in the organisation.
Strong Analytical skills for analysing clients data.
Preferable:
ICT GCSE or A level.
Experience in a sales/office/admin role.
Familiar with computer systems such as MRP/SAP.
A basic knowledge of the Steel/Manufacturing industry.
