We have an exciting opportunity for an FP&A Manager to lead Financial Planning & Analysis activities across Abbott Diabetes Care UK & Ireland. This is a highly visible role, partnering closely with Commercial, Supply Chain and Finance leadership to drive forecast accuracy, robust planning, and insightful performance reporting.
You will play a pivotal role in leading the IBP and LBE forecasting processes, supporting strategic decision‑making and ensuring strong financial governance across the business.
What You’ll Do
* Own and coordinate forecast accuracy goals and targets across ADC UK & Ireland
* Lead all FP&A activities for UK & Ireland, including LBE submissions, Ireland financial management, daily sales reporting, and hospital business planning and reporting
* Lead the UK & Ireland IBP forecasting process, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Area Demand Management
* Ensure forecasts reflect new product introductions and current supply constraints
Financial Management & Reporting
* Manage and submit locally agreed sales data and EMEA minutes into Dodeca, ensuring accurate tie‑out of sales and margin impacts
* Manage and control department expenses, ensuring month‑end close and accounting entries are accurate
* Own and accurately forecast UK & Ireland balance sheet and cashflow
* Lead local daily sales reporting, providing insights on monthly performance and communicating regularly with Commercial Management
* Coordinate with the Financial Controller to deliver weekly EMEA updates
Education & Qualifications
* Degree qualified (or degree calibre)
* Professional finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent experience
Skills & Experience
* Strong experience using MS Office, particularly Excel
* Proven ability to analyse, interpret and present complex financial data
* High level of numeracy with strong attention to detail
* Excellent organisational and delegation skills, managing multiple stakeholders and priorities
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence cross‑functionally
* Calm and resilient under pressure, able to manage tight deadlines
* Patient and supportive leader, with a passion for coaching and developing others
