We are looking for an experienced Plant SQA Engineer to join our team specializing in Manufacturing & Quality for our Components Business Segment in Huddersfield.
This is a permanent contract working 35 hours per week. Monday – Friday 7.30am to 3pm.
Salary is £35,000 to £40,000 depending on skills and experience.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Comprehensive knowledge applied to performing skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs.
Works with relevant functions to select and utilize appropriate resources, tools, machinery, and specialty equipment.
Acts as a formal resource leading and coordinating others. Quickly and effectively adapts to change in the manufacturing environment.
Working with suppliers on emerging quality issues.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Experience of Microsoft software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Previous experience of working within an Engineering or Manufacturing function preferred.
Turbocharger & Technical knowledge preferable.
College, university, apprenticeship, or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject required.
