About The Role
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Processing of accruals and prepayments as informed by operational teams in line with financial processes and principles
* Assisting other members of the business partnering team with month-end result production
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Tracking and reconciling cash transactions through the business
* Building relationships with other finance team members
* Oversee a team responsible for payroll and intercompany postings ensuring postings are accurate and complete in a timely manner
* Review and understand balance sheet reconciliations
* Support the team completing balance sheet reconciliations across two systems and two chart of accounts
* Support the finance manager with implementation of best practice within the team
* Support the team through a challenging transitional phase including company hive ups and systems integrations
* Other ad hoc duties as required.
The Ideal Candidate Should Meet The Following Criteria
* Must have Right to Work in the UK
* Planning and diary management skills
* Able to manage own workload and prioritise workloads to important deadlines
* Clear communication skills (use of email and calls)
* Understanding of catering or retail operations would be desirable to help improve understanding of data processing. Minimum AAT level 4 or sufficient QBE demonstrated through previous positions held
