HGV Drivers Class 1 Day shift drivers £16.80 to £21.00 per hour Days 6-7am Start times. We are looking for 6 Class 1 HGV drivers for a well known company based in Walton Summit, Bamber Bridge As a Class 1 HGV Driver you must have: ● CE driving Licence ● Current CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card ● 6 points or less on your licence for minor offences. ● Be keen to look after your vehicle and be reliable and punctual HGV Class 1 Driver responsibilities include: ● Trunking from depot to depot, some pick ups and collections and the delivery of goods to commercial warehouses. ● Daily walk round and Vehicle checks. Reporting existing damage and defects. ● Correct use of Tachograph and drivers hours The successful HGV Drivers can expect: ● Monday–Friday: £16.80 PAYE Per Hour Advanced ● Weekend enhancements available ● Weekly Pay, paid on time every time. ● 8hr minimum shift guaranteed pay per day ● Subsidised ongoing CPC training.
