IT Support Engineer

Tektora is working in partnership with a specialist consultancy delivering services into a highly secure environment. We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to oversee and support their BMC platfrom.
This role is available on either a contract or permanent basis and will suit candidates with strong enterprise Powershell, SQL and ITIL experience who are comfortable operating in regulated, security-cleared environments and keen to pick up BMC Remedy development.
The Role
As a IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the administration, support, and ongoing development of the Remedy ITSM platform. You will support live operational environments while also contributing to platform enhancements, integrations, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders across a secure programme, with a strong emphasis on stability, compliance, and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide senior-level administration and technical ownership of the BMC Remedy platform.
* Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and tasks within Powershell and SQL
* Administer Remedy user access, configurations, and system performance.
* Maintain accurate technical documentation to support audit, security, and compliance requirements
* Contribute to continuous improvement across the Remedy platform and associated ITSM processes
Required Experience
* Proven experience in a using Powershell and SQL with BMC Remedy Administrator experience as desirable.
* Solid understanding of ITIL-aligned ITSM processes
* Comfortable working in secure, regulated environments
* Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
