Electrical Shift Leader - High Profile Bank, London HQ
We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Electrical Shift Leader to work at a prestigious bank's London headquarters in the City. This role requires a natural leader with a drive to deliver excellent customer service and oversee maintenance operations within a high-profile commercial building.
Hours: Shift Leader - Corporate Bank HQ, Central London
Role Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with the Technical Manager
* Operate all building systems effectively and efficiently
* Act as the Duty Authorised Person (HV) during shifts
* Issue site Permits as per Safe System of Work
* Complete PPM and reactive tasks, updating the system accordingly
* Conduct daily tours, report or repair defects via the helpdesk
* Order materials timely and complete internal Materials Request Forms
* Maintain effective shift handovers
* Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Record statutory inspections and conduct regular audits of fire, access, and water hygiene records
* Manage third-party contractors, monitor work performance, and conduct internal audits
* Ensure Specialist Service Provider worksheets are signed off and work quality is inspected
* Escalate critical incidents and produce incident reports within prescribed timescales
* Support other onsite teams to ensure building uptime and promote cross-training
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping in plant areas, workshops, and stores
* Accurately complete shift logs and paperwork
Experience & Qualifications:
* Experience with Building Management Systems
* Proven experience managing contractors and supervising staff
* LV/HV Authorised Person certification
* C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2 or mechanical equivalent
* Knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation and good organizational skills
