Day-to-day of the role:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that meet curriculum standards for KS3 and KS4.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to ensure academic development.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and conducive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share innovative teaching techniques and materials.
Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school training events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience in teaching Spanish at KS3 and KS4 levels.
Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks for Spanish.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
Organisational skills with the capacity to manage classroom activities and administrative responsibilities effectively.
