Senior ICT Support Officer – Clinical Systems Portfolio
We are seeking a Senior ICT Support Officer to support the Clinical Systems Portfolio. This full‑time role offers a unique chance to work closely with clinical colleagues and alongside the offices of the CCIO and CNIO, driving innovation in healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
* Play a pivotal role in implementing, supporting, and optimising the clinical applications in the BCU portfolio.
* Provide valuable support across the clinical systems portfolio, ensuring that technology meets the evolving needs of our clinical teams and patients.
* Provide floor walking, training, and hands‑on support to assist clinical staff in using IT solutions effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
* Customer‑focused mindset with outstanding communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to build strong relationships with clinical and operational staff while delivering practical IT solutions.
* Methodical, logical approach to problem‑solving, with high attention to detail.
* Adaptability and flexibility; occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
* Experience in training methods, including on‑the‑job coaching and virtual learning, is a bonus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and organisational skills essential for handling multiple priorities.
* Interest in ICT or healthcare with patient care experience; full training will be provided.
* Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh or English speakers are welcomed.
