An exciting opportunity has arisen in York for an experienced Civil Engineer (Graduate +3 years) to join a forward‑thinking consultancy delivering high‑quality infrastructure and flood risk solutions. Responsibilities
* Produce Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
* Design surface and foul water drainage systems.
* Contribute to flood alleviation and coastal erosion schemes.
* Collaborate with planners, architects, and fellow engineers for integrated designs.
* Shape projects from early feasibility through to detailed design.
Qualifications
* Graduate +3 years of experience as a civil engineer, preferably in a consultancy environment.
* Strong technical focus on flood risk assessments and underground drainage design.
* Solid understanding of SUDS, attenuation systems, and infiltration design.
* Proficiency in Civil 3D and InfoDrainage.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Support and encouragement to progress towards professional qualification.
