Job Overview
We are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner - Rail, Specialist & Pest Control to join our passionate and driven team at our client’s site in Ipswich.
As a Finance Business Partner in the Cleaning sector, you will support the finance department by providing strategic financial insights and analysis. This hybrid role involves working remotely, visiting client sites, and collaborating with a vibrant finance team. Your expertise in finance business partnering and management accounts will be key in driving informed decision-making and supporting our organization’s financial growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Produce timely and accurate monthly Management Reports and Accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, including regional reports for major contracts.
2. Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, helping them understand financial positions, variances, and trends to facilitate appropriate actions.
3. Monitor KPIs and perform variance analysis to understand drivers of growth, informing both short-term performance and strategic direction.
4. Develop and maintain effective business partnering relationships across operational teams.
5. Work with operational teams to improve working capital, focusing on debt and stock management.
6. Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts to manage divisional results and expectations.
7. Utilize Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI to analyze data, generate reports, and identify improvement opportunities.
8. Support the preparation of financial presentations and reports for senior management and board meetings.
9. Ensure compliance with group finance policies and establish additional policies as needed.

About You
* Right to work in the UK
* Part Qualified or Newly Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
* Experience in preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Management Accounts
* Experience in budgeting and forecasting
* Facilities Management industry experience (desirable)
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to communicate financial issues clearly
* High attention to detail, with a commercial focus
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Client-facing skills to build relationships
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with complex financial models
* Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
* Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving role
