A critical component of Run4It's operation are our internal processes. The Part Time Warehouse Assistant will work alongside their Full Time counterpart and have responsibility for the receipt, checking, storing, picking and despatching of stock to support our seven shops and online sales channel.
Reporting directly to the Stock Manager, this role requires a commitment to following processes with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency to exceptional standards.
This is an ideal role for someone who is well organised and likes to work in a structured and disciplined fashion, with strong attention to detail. Experience of working in a logistical, warehouse or stores capacity in past roles is preferred. The role also requires the use of Google Suite and Apple Ipads, so competent IT skills are also required. An interest in running and running products would be beneficial.
The key duties and responsibilities of the Part Time Warehouse Assistant are to manage the:
* receipt of deliveries into the business and their accurate checking, for adding to our stock control system;
* effective and orderly storage of product, within defined areas, for ease of picking;
* regular picking of stock, from picking lists provided for despatch to our shops;
* orderly and accurate boxing and transferring of picked stock, generating transfer notes;
* arrangement of courier collections and the effective and timely movement of consignments to the couriers;
* reconciliation and checking of stock, and regularly checking tracking records to ensure all orders arrive on time in the correct locations.
Reporting to:
The Stock Manager as your line Manager.
Key performance indicators:
* Accuracy of Goods and Purchase Orders received.
* Accuracy of Transfer Notes.
* Accuracy of Warehouse stock holding.
Terms:
* This is a fixed term role until the 10th of January 2026.
* An hourly rate of £12.25/hour.
* 20 hours per week across 3 days Tuesday to Thursday.
* The occasional requirement to work a different or weekend day (with a day off during the week) as the business needs require.
* Holidays: 28 days per annum pro rata (including public holidays).
