Aligned with Adelaide Hills Council's dedication to community building through leadership, community engagement, and commitment to service, an exceptional leadership position exists for a Director of Corporate Services. This role will provide strategic and progressive leadership to the Corporate Services Directorate, overseeing Financial Services, People and Culture, Information Services, Communication, Engagement and Events as well as Corporate Reporting. As a key member of the executive team, the successful candidate will positively impact the operations, performance, and culture of the directorate, and the Executive Leadership Team and provide impactful influence, especially with council members and external entities. This pivotal role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate a successful track record in a senior leadership role, managing diverse functions such as Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Procurement, Communications, and Engagement. Alongside these, you should possess strong leadership skills, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, a strategic mindset and political nous. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance/Accounting or a related field and a solid understanding of local government will be highly regarded.
