We are looking for a dedicated, Bids and Tenders Manager to join our Operations Team who will be working in a cross brand role representing both sides of the wider business.
You will be responsible for overseeing bid and tender proposals, and applications on behalf of the company as well supporting, framework liaison and contract management. You will also be producing high quality and compelling commercial documents and responses, in order to maximise success rates.
Key Duties Roles & Responsibilities:
Bid Management
Working closely with the Operations team, responsibilities include introduction and implementation of all necessary bid procedures, governance, and processes. Bids and Tenders Sourcing and responding to tenders; and managing bid processes in the most commercially successful way to win business Framework Management Leveraging existing frameworks and relationships to identify and unlock revenue opportunities Identifying new framework opportunities and managing framework renewals and applications Managing external relationships with framework providers and core NHS network providers to ensure external parties are informed on Patchwork’s product developments and new capabilities Responsible for highlighting viable opportunities and identifying suitable contracts for further discussion with Senior Management Team Potential to evolve the function as a stand-alone business unit responsible for securing winning bids with identified opportunities Responsible for managing an opportunity from qualification through to contract award, including: Value proposition Strategy development Solution development Commercial considerations Partner identification and risk management
Contract Management
Management, maintenance, and reporting on all commercial contracts Tracking contractual commitments agreed with existing clients Tracking renewal opportunities Oversight of the Contracts Tracker Review of all quotes and agreements prior to being sent to customer Working with the CCO to agree commercial terms Working closely with the Sales and Operations Teams to implement new contracts Management of direct and framework agreements Management of Contract Management folder on intranet and SharePoint Manage internal and external audit process Provide timetabled activity and achievement reports to senior management

Knowledge Skills and Experience;
Essential
Demonstrable experience in bid writing and bid and tender management Knowledge and understanding of relevant bid portals and tender alertsystems Experience working with NHS or public sector procurement frameworks Commercial acumen and ability to convey business information in a compelling and low-risk way that increases the likelihood of winning business
Desirable
Degree in Business Management / Business Administration / Project Management or 5 years experience in a Bid Manager role APMP certification PRINCE2 certification Member of the CMI Previous experience in healthcare/ sales / service sector Knowledge of healthcare sector and associated frameworks
