We are looking for individuals with experience supporting pupils in Nursery or Reception classes, who are passionate about helping children build a strong foundation for future learning. As an EYFS TA, you'll play a vital role in supporting classroom learning and development. Your responsibilities will include implementing early literacy and numeracy programmes, providing feedback to the class teacher, encouraging positive behaviour and participation, and contributing to individual learning or behaviour plans when required. Your Key Responsibilities Plan and set up engaging literacy and numeracy activities for the whole class, small groups and 1:1 pupils. Provide timely feedback to the class teacher on pupil progress and next steps. Promote positive behaviour, participation and personal development. Help create and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes. Liaise closely with teachers, fellow TAs and external specialists to support individual needs. Track and record pupil development to celebrate achievements and identify areas for support. Essential Requirements Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or working towards completion). Recent experience working with children in Early Years or KS1. Confidence managing behaviour and encouraging engagement. Creative, proactive and flexible support style.
