Main duties of the job
As Specialist Matron, you will be responsible for the clinical leadership, quality, safety and operational delivery of LD & A services in the community and inpatient, ensuring care is compassionate, timely and aligned with national and local priorities. You will work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues, ICB, social care, Experts by experience and voluntary sector organisations to deliver seamless, patient-centred care.
You will act as a visible clinical leader, supporting staff wellbeing, professional development and a culture of continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* To provide senior clinical and professional leadership across the LD & A services in the community and inpatient
* Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and high quality care in line with best practice and national guidance
* Lead on clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management
* Oversee staffing, workforce development, supervision and performance management
* Work collaboratively with community services, commissioners and partner agencies
* Lead service development initiatives to improve access, outcomes and patient experience
* Act as a role model for compassionate care
* Lead CQC preparation for services in portfolio
Qualifications
* RMN, RLDN, RN
* Current relevant registration with the NMC
* Masters Level Degree or equivalent

* Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and national drivers underpinning high quality clinical care

Associate Director of Nursing & Quality- Community
£57,528 to £64,750 a year gross per annum (pro rata).
