Pupil Administration Officer
Nexus School is seeking a highly organised and proactive Pupil Administration Officer to join our supportive and dedicated team. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth and effective pupil administration across the school, with significant involvement in Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs), care plans and family liaison.
This is a fast-paced and varied position, suited to someone with excellent communication skills, strong administrative experience and the ability to work confidently with a range of professionals, pupils and families.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
1. Act as a key point of contact for Kent County Council SEN Department
2. Organise and minute pupil-related meetings such as Annual Reviews/EHCP meetings and transition reviews
3. Prepare, track and collate documentation related to EHCP Annual Reviews
4. Support the administration of care plans and maintain relevant trackers
5. Provide information, guidance and support to parents, carers, and external agencies
6. Offer administrative support to teaching staff for pupil meetings and transition processes
7. Engage in multi-agency working with the Local Authority, NHS, Social Services and other partners

We are looking for someone who:
8. Has strong organisational and administrative skills
9. Works with accuracy, efficiency and confidentiality
10. Can manage a busy diary and prioritise workload
11. Communicates professionally with pupils, families, staff and outside agencies
12. Can minute meetings to a high standard and track resulting actions
13. Is proactive, flexible and able to work under pressure
14. Has strong IT skills, including Word, Excel and school management systems (SIMS desirable)
15. Ability to work at either our Tonbridge or Wouldham sites when required
Experience of working in a school setting and/or with EHCP processes is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate with strong transferable skills.
