Head of Operations - QHSE

We are delighted to be supporting a leading QHSE consultancy based in Aberdeen in their search for a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected, growing business where you will lead, mentor, and manage a team of QHSE Advisors, ensuring effective workload management, ongoing development, and consistently high performance. The role also offers strong progression potential for the right candidate.
Experience & Qualifications
* Proven track record in a similar operations, supervisory, or team leadership role.
* Experience working within a fast-paced environment.
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
* Lead Auditor qualification in at least one discipline: ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 or 27001.
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and supporting a team of QHSE Advisors, ensuring high-quality service delivery across all client contracts.
* Overseeing client engagement and work allocation, ensuring deadlines and standards are consistently met.
* Supporting business development activity, including client relationship management, tender support, and new contract mobilisation.
* Providing expertise across Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, Information Security & GDPR, with a focus on continual improvement and alignment with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 27001).
