IT Support Analyst 1st and 2nd Line Support

The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an IT Support Analyst to join a well established financial services and wealth management organisation on a six month fixed term contract.
This role sits within the internal IT team and plays an important part in supporting colleagues across the business. You will act as a key point of contact for IT support, helping users resolve technical issues and ensuring they have reliable access to the systems and tools they rely on every day.
The position combines remote support with hands on deskside support from the Glasgow office. It would suit someone who enjoys working closely with users, solving problems and delivering a high standard of service in a professional environment.
You will be supporting a modern Microsoft based environment and working as part of a collaborative IT team focused on providing a responsive and reliable service to the wider business.
The Role
As an IT Support Analyst you will act as the first point of contact for colleagues experiencing technical issues, providing first and second line support across a range of systems and devices.
The role involves troubleshooting problems, managing service requests and supporting users both remotely and in person. You will also support the onboarding of new starters, assist with device provisioning and help maintain accurate records of IT equipment and assets.
There will also be occasional travel to other UK offices when required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first and second line IT support to internal users
Act as the first point of contact for incidents and service requests raised through the IT service management system
Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, Active Directory and Azure Virtual Desktop
Provide both remote and deskside support to colleagues
Support the joiners, movers and leavers process including account creation, access management and equipment setup
Build, configure and deploy laptops, desktops and mobile devices
Maintain accurate records within the IT service management and asset management systems
Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure a high level of customer service and support
What We Are Looking For
Experience working in an IT Service Desk, Helpdesk or IT Support role
Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
Experience supporting or administering Microsoft Intune and end user devices
Experience working with IT service management or ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Halo or SysAid
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills and a customer focused approach
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to other offices when required
