We are working with a Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in Liverpool that is seeking a Computer Science Specialist Cover Supervisor for a full-time, long-term role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated graduate or aspiring teacher to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive and forward-thinking school.
The Role
As a Computer Science Specialist Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Deliver pre-planned computer science lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Support students with programming concepts and practical coding tasks
* Maintain a positive and focused learning environment
* Encourage student engagement and curiosity in technology and computing
* Provide feedback on student progress and behaviour to teaching staff
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Holds a degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
* Has a strong understanding of programming
* Is confident working with secondary-aged students
* Has excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Is enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to develop a career in education
