EICR Electrician (Social Housing Sector)

About the Role
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced EICR Electrician to join our team working within the social housing sector.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), fault finding, testing, and carrying out remedial works. You will also undertake smoke alarm and consumer unit upgrades across a portfolio of occupied properties.
Your work will play a key role in maintaining compliance with electrical safety regulations and delivering a professional and respectful service to tenants and clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out EICR testing and certification in line with current regulations (BS7671).
* Identify, diagnose, and repair electrical faults efficiently.
* Complete remedial works following EICR findings.
* Accurately complete all certification and documentation using digital systems.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with tenants in occupied properties.
* Adhere to health & safety standards at all times.
Requirements
* ECS Gold Card (essential)]
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
* BS th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
* City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (EICR qualification).
* Proven experience working in social housing or domestic environments.
* Strong knowledge of EICR testing & inspection.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
