Specialty Claims Manager
Salary - £100,000
London/ hybrid
Pavilion are partnered with a high-growth and innovative (re)insurance business seeking a Specialty Claims Manager to join their expanding claims team. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of your own international and complex portfolio of claims and have two direct reports, whilst playing a key role in supporting the business with growth and ensuring the claims processes are efficient bringing ideas for improvements.
You’ll report directly to the Head of Claims and gain exposure across a dynamic, entrepreneurial business that is scaling rapidly within London and Internationally, working closely with their worldwide offices.
Your portfolio of claims will consist of large and complex specialty claims including construction, property, political violence, terrorism, trade credit, casualty, and energy on an international basis. You will work closely with offices across London, Dubai, Mauritius, South Africa, Kenya, Morocco, US, and Bermuda.
For less-experienced team members that will report to you, you’ll act as a key referral point for claims, offer technical training and development, and stand in place of the Head of Claims when they are away.
Our client is seeking a strong multi-class experienced claims professional who has operated at a senior level or higher with experience in supporting team members. You’ll need to demonstrate knowledge of international specialty claims and be confident in working closely with clients and be able to support a growing business.
