 
        
        Telephone Research Assistant required ASAP for central Cardiff based research company (close to the train station), working on various campaigns as needed, conducting outbound research calls and compiling responses. After initial training / induction period, there is flexibility to do some shifts from home with laptop and phone supplied.
Hours & Shifts: Monday to Friday = 09:00 – 16:30, with 30 mins unpaid lunch and two paid 15 minute breaks.
Pay Rate: £12.41 per hour.
Duration: Initial project is 5 weeks. Possible further campaigns available.
Start Date: Tuesday 21 October.
Responsibilities
 * Conduct outbound research calls for a variety of clients from the commercial and/or public sector.
 * Read confidently from on-screen questionnaires and accurately record responses in databases.

 * Motivation, focus, consistency and time‑management skills.
 * Excellent telephone manner.
 * A confident user of IT, including Microsoft packages.
 * The ability to speak confidently to unknown respondents on a business-to-business and/or business‑to‑consumer basis.
 * Happy to make cold calls and can take a refusal with a smile.
 * The ability to be flexible with hours if needed.
