Overview
Here at Compass, we are looking for someone who knows how to make a house a home. We are expanding and have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and determined Children’s Home Registered Managers. This role will see you lead and inspire your own team, ensuring that the children living within the home have outstanding care, great role models and a safe place to call home. A £5,000 relocation bonus is available for those willing to move to take up this role. The base salary is competitive, £47,500 - £55,000, with the opportunity to earn up to £18,000 in annual bonuses, paid quarterly. Bonus eligibility is based on home occupancy and achieving a “Good” or “Outstanding” Ofsted rating.
Note: We are seeking the best candidates to lead our children’s homes and support their development.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise your own team to provide outstanding care for children in residential settings.
* Ensure the home offers a safe, supportive, and child-centred environment.
* Collaborate with professionals and services to promote positive outcomes for children.
* Maintain high standards of practice and contribute to continuous improvement within the home.
* Support with operational duties and uphold regulatory requirements relevant to residential childcare.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a role relevant to the residential care of children.
* At least 2 years in a role supervising and managing staff.
* NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
* Has achieved a “Good” or “Outstanding” grade within recent Ofsted Inspections.
