Kitchen Porter - Fantastic work-life balance opportunity in Inverness We're recruiting for a Kitchen Porter in Inverness offering consistent hours, weekly pay and a supportive kitchen team environment. Based in Inverness, this role offers a mix of day and occasional weekend shifts, with plenty of time off built into the rota. You'll be supporting a busy kitchen delivering buffet-style catering for up to 90 covers at lunch and dinner. Why apply? What's in it for you? You'll earn £13.68 per hour inclusive of holiday pay You'll be paid weekly, every Friday 35-40 hours per week with 11:00-17:00 shifts as standard Monday to Friday, with just 1 weekend per month and 3 days off the following week after your weekend rotation You'll have access to our Referral Scheme - earn up to £250 Key Responsibilities As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play a vital part in keeping the kitchen running smoothly: Washing dishes, pots, pans and utensils Cleaning kitchen equipment, surfaces, floors and walls Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly Following food safety and hygiene regulations at all times What we're looking for To succeed as a Kitchen Porter, you'll need: A strong work ethic - reliable, punctual and hardworking A positive attitude and willingness to take instruction A team-focused approach, supporting chefs and colleagues Good physical fitness, able to stand for long periods and handle heavier items This position may also suit someone with experience as a Kitchen Assistant, and we welcome applicants from nearby areas including Forres who are able to commute to Inverness.
