Yard Operative/Relief Driver required for busy builders merchant type business in Colchester.
Reporting to the Yard Manager the role will require applicants to pick and pack orders, to load and unload our own and visiting delivery vehicles, to deal with visiting customers and their needs and the general upkeep of the yard and the stock contained within.
A counter balance fork lift licence would be beneficial but not essential as training can be provided.
All applicants would need to be fit and healthy due to the physical nature and demands of the workloads involved in the role and must be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions with suitable workwear provided.
Based on a 40 hour working week Monday to Friday the salary would be negotiable dependant on experience. The role also includes 28 days annual holiday plus an auto enrolment pension scheme.
