We are looking for an AssistantManager to join our Accounting, Insight & Advisory (AIA) team. In thisrole, you will be a key member of the growing Finance Function Supportnational team, with a focus on the private businesses within the Northernregion. As an Assistant Manager you will support the wider team and assist managersto effectively deliver work across a portfolio of SME corporate clients,focusing on annualpliance needs, relationship building, and solvingday to day issues clients face. This will include the practical applicationof accounting standards under FRS 102 and FRS 105 across a wide varietyof industries and specialist areas.
The fast growth of the departmentwill create opportunities to develop further skill sets including businessdevelopment and coaching of junior staff. It will also present an opportunityto expand your internal network and work with a variety of colleagues andservice lines across the UK, as well as supporting your local office.
You'll make an impact by:
1. Supporting managers to deliver an all-round premium service and quality end product to our clients
2. Managing a portfolio of clients, including clientcare responsibilities, project management and WIP/billing management
3. Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and acting as a key focal point of contact
4. Taking the lead/supervisory on assignments as and when required
5. Training and developing junior members of the team, assisting them with areas they need support with and offering constructive feedback where possible
What we are looking for:

6. ACA qualified or equivalent
7. UK GAAP experience - FRS 102 and FRS 105
8. Experience of working in a professional practise, ideally in an equivalent accounting advisory team
9. A strong understanding of UK financial reporting requirements
10. Experience working with clients
11. Experience of supervision of junior staff
12. Previous experience of CCH Accounts Production would be desirable, but not essential.
