Management Accountant
Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
We are working with a well-established professional services organisation in Manchester city centre seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will support month-end reporting, balance sheet control, and wider finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Balance sheet ownership and month-end reporting (P&L, EBITDA, WIP, debt)
* Preparation of board-level reports and lock-up metrics
* Fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, and cashbook journals
* Monitoring timesheets, billing, and supporting forecasting
* Supporting the Finance Director, wider finance team, and acquisition reporting
* Bank payments and assistance with credit control
Key Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent
* Proven Management Accountant experience
* Strong month-end and balance sheet knowledge
* Professional services industry sector experience or similar is advantageous
