Overview
Graduate Teaching Assistant position in an outstanding rated Secondary SEN School in Wembley. The role involves supporting a KS3 class and working 1:1 with an autistic child to provide consistency and support to daily learning routines. You will also assist the class teacher with planning and preparing lessons and activities, support lower academic ability groups, and provide class support as needed. Start date is ASAP with potential teacher training opportunities.
Responsibilities

The Ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant Applicant
* Have references or demonstrable experience in a similar role, ideally within a Primary School environment
* Be driven, enthusiastic, and passionate about the education of children
* Have experience working with SEN
* Have knowledge of child safeguarding and protection procedures and the UK National Curriculum
* Be degree educated
* Have excellent communication skills
* Be fluent in English
