A well-regarded Primary School in Oldham, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join their Early Years team on a maternity cover basis.
The successful candidate will take part in a handover during the week before the May half term, with the full-time rolemencing immediately after the break. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school environment with a strong focus on high-quality Early Years provision.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Lead a supportive EYFS classroom, delivering high-quality, play‑based learning
2. Engage in a structured handover prior to May half term
3. Plan, prepare, and teach lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
4. Track and assess pupil progress, ensuring a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
5. Work collaboratively with an established Early Years team and support staff
6. Uphold high standards of safeguarding and classroom practice

7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
8. Strong experience working within Early Years
9. Confident in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons
10. A positive, enthusiastic, and patient approach
11. Ability to integrate quickly into a warm and collaborative team
