About the Company
We are supporting a growing SaaS business that provides software solutions to critical industries across the UK.
As part of their next stage of growth, they are building a dedicated Account Management function. This team will be central to strengthening customer relationships, ensuring long-term value, and supporting revenue retention and growth.
The Role
As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and shaping the Account Management function. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll put processes in place, manage strategic customer relationships, and help drive retention and expansion.
This is an excellent opportunity to join at a pivotal stage, with real influence over how Account Management operates as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted advisor to key customers, understanding their goals and needs.
* Run structured customer review meetings to ensure clients get maximum value from the platform.
* Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities through strategic account planning.
* Manage renewals and mitigate churn risks by addressing issues early.
* Serve as the voice of the customer internally, providing insights to inform the product roadmap.
* Log and forecast opportunities in CRM, keeping updates on renewals and expansions accurate.
* Work cross-functionally with Sales, Support, Projects, and Product teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
About You
You are commercially minded, relationship-focused, and thrive on building long-term partnerships while spotting opportunities for growth.
Requirements
* 4–5+ years’ experience in SaaS Account Management or Customer Success.
* Proven track record managing strategic accounts, driving retention, and delivering revenue growth.
* Strong commercial awareness with experience in upsell, cross-sell, and renewals.
* Excellent communication skills, able to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
* Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing both customers and internal teams.
* Organised and proactive, with experience using CRM tools for account planning and forecasting.
