Job Description:
As a trainee / apprentice quantity surveyor, you will undertake a relevant degree in Quantity Surveying and will have the ambition to work hard, learn, and succeed in a dynamic professional environment. The company will invest in you to develop into a commercial professional capable of undertaking the cost management role on construction projects. Time, care, and attention will be given to you by our senior management team throughout your training.

Primary Responsibilities
Project work:
* Undertake a wide variety of pre and post contract duties, ensuring best practice including cost planning, estimation, tender and contract document preparation, contract administration, and post-contract cost management.
General duties:
* Represent T&A professionally, support business development, mentor junior staff, participate in professional development, and comply with company policies.
Delivering an excellent client experience:
Build strong, professional relationships with colleagues, clients, consultants, and contractors, based on mutual respect, trust, and integrity. Attend project meetings, communicate clearly, and follow up on actions.
Qualifications
Meet university entry requirements: a minimum of four SQA Highers at Grade BBCC (including Maths) plus Nat 5 English at B, or equivalent qualifications such as a Foundation Apprenticeship, Modern Apprenticeship, college qualification, or industry-related experience recognized through RPL.
