We are looking for a passionate and conscientious teaching assistant to work in a mainstream primary setting at Salford. You will be based in a KS2 classroom, providing support and guidance to all children alongside general classroom duties.
This is a full-time role ( 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM ) available as soon as possible.The School is located in Salford.
You will have the chance to support students, as well as continue your own professional development. It is a highly rewarding role, where qualifications are desired but not required! We are looking for those with experience working with children and/or young people.
Responsibilities

1. Ensuring pupils stay on task
2. Controlling behaviour in the classroom
3. Providing support to children on a 1-to-1 basis or in a group setting when required
4. Assisting the teacher in planning engaging lessons for the class in line with the curriculum
5. Liaising with the class teacher and parents to provide the best support.

Requirements:
11. Experience working with a KS2 environment
12. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
13. Positive attitude to learning.
14. Able to adapt to the different needs of each child
15. Flexibly adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional and friendly manner
16. Able to use initiative to do general tasks within the classroom.
