Main purpose of the role
* Provide excellent customer care across all care pathways in the store
* Set up equipment and complete delegated tasks
* Perform diagnostic and pre-assessment procedures under the supervision of the optometrist
* Perform digital imaging and OCT scan capture
* Conduct visual field testing following the optometrist's instructions and strategy
Essential skills
* Excellent customer communication skills
* Confidence to seek guidance and support when needed
Main responsibilities
* Clearly explain the appointment process to customers
* Ensure data protection and regulatory compliance
* Complete diagnostics while adhering to IPC and PPE guidelines
* Ensure customer comfort and understanding throughout their journey
