SEN Tutor – Kettering

£25–£30 per hour (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to work with students in the Kettering area, providing personalised, high-quality support that makes a real difference.
The Role
You will work 1:1 or with small groups of pupils who may have additional needs such as:
* Autism (ASC)
* ADHD
* SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
* Learning difficulties (e.g., dyslexia)
* Students out of mainstream education
Sessions may take place in the home, school, or community setting, depending on the individual student’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver tailored lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet EHCP targets and individual learning styles
* Build positive, trusting relationships with students and families
* Monitor progress and provide regular feedback
* Support students in building confidence, independence, and engagement with learning
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, or significant tutoring experience
* Experience working with SEN pupils in UK settings
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Reliable, patient, and empathetic approach
* Ability to travel within the Kettering area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
