Job Title: Stores Person

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30-16:00
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Stores Person to support their busy and fast-paced stores department within the engineering sector.
This is a temporary, full-time opportunity, reporting to the Stores Co-Ordinator and Procurement Manager, suited to someone physically fit, IT-literate, and confident working in a warehouse or stores environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receiving and handling goods inwards
* Booking goods into the system using internal software
* Accurately putting deliveries away
* Picking and packing customer orders for both UK and international shipments
* Booking shipments via courier platforms
* General stores organisation and housekeeping
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience packing engineering products is highly desirable
* Must be confident using a tape gun
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling
* Comfortable working to pick lists and shipping deadlines
* High attention to detail and accuracy in packing
* Basic IT skills – training will be provided on internal systems
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Counterbalance forklift licence – desirable
* Engineering or technical background – advantageous
