What Is the Opportunity?

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Redhill-based finance team. You’ll handle multi-currency invoice processing (including VAT), ledger reconciliations, weekly payment runs, and employee expense claims—all while ensuring compliance with company policy.

You’ll be part of a close-knit Accounts Payable team of two, working within a collaborative wider finance team of five. It's a supportive, friendly environment where teamwork is key and your contributions are truly valued.

Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.

What Will You Do?

1. Action invoices received via email and post and send to relevant department for checking. Action supplier statements promptly.
2. Check, code, save and input invoices received back from business areas. Ensure they are routed for approval to the correct Manager for the business area.
3. Ensure employee expenses are claimed in adherence to the Travel policy. Provide ad hoc guidance to employees on system use and coding when required.
4. Ensure the accurate treatment and coding of Value Added Tax.
5. Ensure manual payment requests are actioned promptly and direct debits are inputted to balance the ledger to the bank.
6. Ensure accurate transfer of information onto ledger system in an efficient manner.
7. Ensure the effective communication of all relevant information to appropriate parties and liaise at all levels.
8. Undertake weekly payment runs for Travelers Management Ltd expenses for UK and Ireland.
9. Make foreign and manual payments by electronic transfer, using Barclays Bank IPortal/Barclays.net.
10. Assist in the implementation of new systems and procedures as appropriate.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

12. Excellent administration, numeracy and keyboard skills are required including a good working knowledge of MS Office excel, word and outlook.
13. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
14. Incumbents must be able to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.
15. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team, with the ability to work proactively and independently.

What is a Must Have?

16. Passes in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
