We’re looking for freelance translators to join our growing team at Dals. As a translator, you’ll play a vital role in helping non-English speakers access essential services by translating documents for clients across the UK. This is a flexible, remote opportunity ideal for those looking to grow their translation career in a dynamic and meaningful industry.
What you’ll do
* Translate digital documents accurately and on time
* Proofread and ensure high-quality, culturally appropriate translations
* Communicate with our booking team for support or issue resolution
* Ensure documents are client‑ready and meet all requirements
What We’re Looking For
* Fluency in English and another language (C1 level or higher)
* At least 1 year of translation experience (100,000+ words or 100+ assignments)
* Relevant qualifications in Translation, Languages, or Linguistics (e.g., BA/MA in Translation, CIOL Level 7 Diploma, DPI Level 4/5)
* Right to work in your country of residence
* EU residency
* Basic DBS check or equivalent (we can assist if needed)
* Willingness to complete a trial assessment
